Job Description:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this is a contract position and your responsibilities will include the creation, growth and maintenance of our international student network, managing international admission, outreaches and sharing Mandarin House with the world!
Responsibilities
- Take the lead in the creation and growth of our international student network.
- Bring in new revenue and students through partnerships and both organization and individual channels and sustainable, productive partnerships with organizations, universities and schools worldwide.
- Take the lead in the growth of our international student network identifying and acting upon new opportunities.
- Manage consistent, professional communications with students and partners informing them of news and product knowledge.
- Student engagement for current students and alumni.
The position is to be based in Shanghai and there are opportunities for contract extension and advancement.
Required & Desired Abilities
Necessary:
• Currently in China.
• Proven, clear, professional English communication ability.
• Hands-on experience in approaching new opportunities, possessing a proven track record of developing and implementing sales plans, reporting, forecasts and delivering sales results.
• A strong understanding of sales and marketing with proven business development skills and experience meeting revenue goals.
• Ability to negotiate and close contracts.
• Good research skills and initiative in opening up new markets and revenue streams.
• Chinese language competence.
• Represent the values of Mandarin House and love Chinese!
Desired:
- A 3rd language.
- Demonstrated experience in marketing and selling value services worldwide.
- Previous work experience in the education / language industry.
