Videography and Photography Intern

Mandarin House Shanghai is looking for a Videographer/Photographer Intern to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about filming, editing and photography, and is excited about the prospect of helping us create a robust video and photo strategy for our international audience.

Job Responsibilities

- Produce and assist with the distribution of video and photo content across all social platforms (incl. WeChat, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter)

- Produce video projects from start to finish, from story boarding to post-production and editing

- Contribute to Mandarin House’s overall videography strategy and direction by assisting in the creation and implementation of videos to tell meaningful stories, differentiate products and services and increase engagement with our audience online

Requirements

- Excellent English skills (even better if you’re fluent in 1 or more other languages)

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

- Shows good judgment, strong attention to detail, and manage projects from beginning to end

- Experience using social media for marketing

- Proven ability to shoot and edit video as well as take great photos

- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Available for 20 - 25 hours a week

- Ability to communicate professionally over the phone and email
